A secret test to date the shroud was conducted in 1982
The test returned two different dates for
different ends of the same thread. (200 AD on one end and 1000 AD on the
other end.) This is more evidence of contamination via invisible
weaving. It is also further evidence that the 1988 Carbon 14 test that
returned a medieval (1260-1390) is in error.
