As with most of these questions, there is an incorrect underlying assumption. Here, it’s that everyone is going along with the Covid-19 vaccines – with the exception of Christians. That is most certainly not the case. Actually, there is a further assumption that we should be doing what everyone else is doing. I’ll come back to that one.
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared Covid-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020 in their Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Situation Report – 51. The Covid vaccines were developed at “record speed” as ChatGPT puts it and were made available in December of 2020.[1] We now have the benefit of hindsight informed by the years of research and data collection on the effectiveness of, and issues with, the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines that have been collected in the intervening years. To answer the question—Why won’t you [Christians] go along with Covid vaccinations like everyone else?—I will supply both past and current concerns as well as the validation of those concerns that has been revealed by the research of multiple sources over the intervening years.
Why Refuse the Covid-19 mRNA Vaccines?
There were three primary concerns that Christians and others had concerning the mRNA Covid-19 Vaccines and a fourth concern that drove the already high suspicions even higher.
1. The mRNA Covid-19 vaccines were made possible by the use of tissues from aborted babies.
2. The Covid-19 mRNA vaccines were developed very quickly without sufficient time for testing and without the customary safeguards, so there were serious questions about its safety.
3. The Covid-19 mRNA vaccines were being forced on the general public, with countries introducing “vaccine passports” and proof-of-vaccination cards restricting access to goods and services for those who did not have them.
Why is this a problem? Aside from the obvious hardships the denial of services created, for many Christians this was a forerunner of the satanic control exercised by the false prophet when he exerts control over the world by restricting the sale of goods and services only to those who agree to receive the mark of the beast (the antichrist) on their right hand or forehead. (Rev 13.16-17). Never before had authorities required you to receive a substance in your body in order to have the basic rights to buy or sell in order to live. For many Christians this was clearly a forerunner—a test run—for the satanic mark of the beast. Being of satanic origin, Christians wanted no part of it.
4. Governments and Health officials were denying the efficacy of non-vaccine treatments such as Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine.
The problems with this are obvious. Disregarding the denials, many doctors developed successful treatment regimens using these drugs in spite of the threats of censure and loss of medical licenses. Not only did the prohibitions look unwarranted and foolish, the vaccine mandates gave the appearance of collusion between the government and drug companies since the vaccines were issued under an emergency authorization, and such an authorization is not allowed if there are alternative treatments. (Here is a video of Robert F Kennedy Jr, the current Health And Human Services Secretary, telling that to Megan Kelly.) The denial of effective treatments that consisted of non-mRNA vaccines heightened the appearance of total disregard of science. It was also clear that the best interest of the patient and the treatment options they called for were being disregarded in favor of windfall profits for drug companies and their cronies who were forcing the vaccines on literally the entire world.
A Closer Look
Reasons 1 (Aborted baby parts) and 3 (satanic origin and desired new world order type control) are primarily religious objections while reasons 2 and 4 are primarily health and safety related. This closer look will focus primarily on health and safety aspects because as far as the religious aspects go, like belief in Jesus himself, you either believe or you don’t. So most of the corroborating evidence given below will be for the health and safety aspects of items 2 and 4.
Part 1: Religious Objections
Evidence: Item 1. The mRNA Covid-19 vaccines were made possible by the use of tissues from aborted babies. Lest the severity of this objection be missed in this pleasure-at-any-cost society, I remind you that abortion is the murder of an innocent person. Thus the desire to eliminate it or at least minimize it is obvious.
John Zmirak and The Stream did a series of articles detailing how the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines were enabled by the use of aborted baby tissue. I will not repeat the details here, I will simply link you to the resources so you can peruse yourself:

This was (and is) a major concern for many Catholics and Christians, but from my perspective it is secondary in importance to the next item.
Evidence: Item 3: The vaccine mandates were satan inspired and a preparatory step for the false prophet mandated mark of the beast (the antichrist).
This is perhaps the most religious of the objections because it deals specifically with prophetic events from the book of Revelation in the Bible. So I give you, as evidence, the text of that prophecy as the primary evidence. As I said above, some will believe, many will not. But the questioner is asking why some Christians are refusing the vaccine. Like it or not, believe it or not, this is a primary concern for many Christians. It certainly is for the author.
The false prophet is a satan aligned figure to come who promotes the antichrist and his agenda. Concerning what he does, the Bible plainly states:
16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Rev 13.16-17
The concern here is not that the vaccine is the mark of beast but that the forced nature of vaccine mandates is laying a foundation for the mark of the beast and getting people into a frame of mind to readily accept a forced mark since they have already been trained by accepting a forced vaccine. Submitting to having something forcibly put onto or into your body as a ransom for your life is satanic and must be opposed.
A further explanation regarding why Christians are adamantly against having something forced onto their body is that taking the mark of the beast on your body—your right hand or forehead—is an irrevocable, unforgivable sin and a literal one way ticket to hell. Since it is irrevocable, God sends an angel to warn the people left on earth after Christians have been removed (1 Thess 4.16-17) to warn them against taking the mark:
9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10 he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.”
Rev 14.9-11
Again, the concern is not that the vaccine is the mark of the beast. The concern is the satanic control and obedient mindset required to get everyone injected that must be resisted. Such obedience to what “everyone else” is doing is something that must be resisted in this matter.
I warned you that this was very religious in nature and that some, perhaps many, would not believe either the warning concerning the coming of the antichrist and the mark he will require or that we Christians take it seriously. You may consider it foolishness. All I can say is what Jesus said to unbelievers when he revealed that he himself was the way to life, the “bread of life”: You have seen (or in this case heard) “and still you do not believe.” (John 6.36)
You have been warned so your failure to heed regarding the mark of the beast will be on your own head. (Ezekiel 33.4-5) My recommendation is to refuse any forced marks on your body, and any forced injections. Like Daniel, make up your mind ahead of time not to be forced into pagan, objectionable practices. (Dan 1.8). If you would be like Daniel, the Covid-19 vaccine is the first test of your resolve.
Part 2: Health and Safety Issues of the Vaccine
Apart from the religious reasons, even as the vaccines were being introduced there were signs and red flags concerning the safety of the vaccines and concerns over whether they would work since they were not subject to the standard, rigorous testing protocols. Remember, they were issued via an emergency authorization. This brings us to objection 4. Other viable treatments for Covid-19 were discouraged or outlawed.
Evidence Item 4: Other Treatments for Covid-19
In spite of the government trying to suppress other effective treatments for Covid-19, doctors were still developing effective protocols. Two testimonies follow.
Dr. Mark McDonald:
States Ivermectin is a safe, effective treatment for Covid-19
Dr. Mark McDonald 9/20/21
Dr Brian Tyson:
Uses a combination of treatments which has resulted in highly successful outcomes.
Dr Brian Tyson, founder of All Valley Urgent Care in El Centro CA, discusses effective treatments he has used to treat Covid-19. These include:
- Ivermectin
- Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)
- Steroids
- Azithromycin
- Doxycycline
- Aspirin
- Budesonide
Dr Tyson states he’s had 100% success if treated started within the first 7 days of the infection; and 99% success if treated started after day 7.

These are just two of the many doctors who developed non-vaccine treatment protocols for Covid-19. Meanwhile, the U.S. Government was denying the effectiveness of drugs like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, because to acknowledge their effectiveness meant the special emergency authorization for the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines could not be issued, and the vaccines could not be used.
Censorship of Effective Treatments
1. Suppression of Ivermectin
Though Ivermectin is a Nobel Prize-winning wonder drug, those who didn’t want to see it used for Covid-19 derided it as merely a “horse dewormer.” For suppression of Ivermectin and the difficulty of getting it during the Covid-19 pandemic, see the Mark MacDonald video clip above.
Below are some reminders of the suppression of the acknowledgement of effective, non-vaccine treatments by both the government and the media:
2. Facebook and the American Journal of Medicine blatantly censored the effectiveness of HCQ.
When the facts later emerged about its effectiveness they had to issue a retraction and correction. Dr. Simone Gold of America’s Frontline Doctors highlights their admission.
Recall that, after President Trump touted the effectiveness of HCQ, all the Trump haters and those with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) immediately started denying the effectiveness of HCQ.
3. The FDA trying to prevent use of HCQ for Covid-19
Senator Ron Johnson hosted a Covid Second Opinion seminar in February of 2022. Guests included physicians, PhDs, attorneys and media people. The 30 minute highlight video of the five hour seminar is well worth watching, but I want to point out 2 items.

The doctor (Dr. Harvey Risch) pictured above points out that the risks listed in the chart for HCQ are for a different usage of HCQ—in the hospital for disease vs. outpatient Covid treatment. Thus the statement from the FDA is blatantly misleading.
4. General Coercion of Doctors to Censor Other Treatments
Dr Peter McCullough – how many have personally witnessed censorship… at 1:15
Dr. Peter McCullough asks the group how many “have witnessed censorship, intimidation, or professional reprisal and damage as a result of your advocacy for patients?” The picture shows the number of hands that went up. Dr. McCullough estimates those experiencing such intimidation at 80%. That would be for those advocating for non-vaccine treatments.
The censorship of non-vaccine treatments was coordinated, relentless and enforced by the largest groups involved in health care. Among them were the FDA, CDC, and medical journals. These agencies pushed the censorship to the media—both traditional and social media. This was all necessary to allow those same agencies and drug companies to push an untested gene therapy treatment on an unsuspecting public.
Evidence Item 2:
Many questions about the safety and effectiveness of the rapidly developed Covid-19 mRNA vaccines
The tweet below from Dr. Dave Cartland reminds us how quickly the Covid vaccines were developed. Most vaccines take many years of development followed by many years of testing. The pandemic was declared in March of 2020 and by December of 2020 there were multiple mRNA vaccines, each produced by a different company.
How was it possible to create a safe vaccine in that amount of time? How could anyone know they were safe without sufficient testing? The answer to the first question led many to conclude the pandemic was a plandemic—preplanned. The answer to the second question was pooh-poohed to the detriment and death of millions of people (which is demonstrated below). Of course the fact that the Covid-19 vaccines are not safe is denied by many in different industries with different spheres of influence with a financial interest to do so. The misdirection they jointly created is why this article is needed. But, as can be discerned from the way the question is phrased, many are more concerned with conforming to the group (even when the group is being misled) than they are with truth, safety or obeying God’s word.
Dangers of the Covid-19 Vaccines
In the first part of this article, I talked about why the vaccines are objectionable from a Christian point of view, so let me move on to why they are objectionable from a safety point of view. I previously wrote a sidebar on the problems with vaccine for the article “Left Behind – The Biggest Sign after the Eclipse.” That Sidebar covers a number or problems with the Covid-19 vaccine. Some are so significant they are repeated here, but most of the items below are different from those listed in the sidebar, so, if after reading this you need further evidence, see the sidebar. There are many issues with the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines – more than can be covered here, so I will limit this discussion to seven issues with the vaccine.
1. The spike protein in the vaccines will cause deadly blood clots

The spike proteins damage not only blood cells and vessels they are also responsible for causing damage to bodily organs as detailed in item five below.
2. High risk of increased infertility, death for women
This headline speaks for itself. But click on the link or the post for more.
3. Highly increased risk of myocarditis in males
This was widely reported, so I expect most are aware of it. In case you missed it, here are a couple of references:

4. Vaccine Acquired Immune Deficiency Disease (V-AIDS)
The Covid-19 mRNA vaccines result in a reduced function of the immune system which has been called V-AIDs. Below are two reports. Note in the second one (which is no longer available on X (formerly Twitter) they put a flag up denying V-AIDs and claiming the vaccine is “safe for most people.”

5. Covid-19 Vaccines – Death induced by organs attacked by the immune system because they produce spike proteins (due to the vax) that make them a target of killer lymphocytes
Drs. Sucharit Bhakdi and Arne Burkhardt produced a paper titled:
“On COVID vaccines: why they cannot work, and irrefutable evidence of their causative role in deaths after vaccine.“
If you don’t want to take the time to read through the entire paper, I highly recommend the following video summary – (3:45 min:sec). Below is a snapshot from the video with one of the headlines: “Top pathologists: Autopsies show 40% of Deaths after Covid Vax are due to vaccine-induced organ attack“
The video summarizes how the immune system begins targeting the body’s own organs because, as a result of the mRNA vaccine, the organs begin producing the spike proteins which the immune system targets as a foreign invader which must be destroyed.
In a separate video Dr. Bhakdi lists the organs commonly damaged as well as an increase in certain types of diseases which were previously under control but whose incidence will greatly increase as the immune system, which is also weakened by the vaccine, can no longer keep the diseases already lurking in the body in check.

Why take them?
If you were of age during the height of the pandemic, you likely remember politicians and newscasters claiming you won’t get the virus if you take the vax, and you wan’t transmit it. (Here’s Biden archive, CDC Director Walenski archive, Montage archive) They soon stopped saying you won’t get the virus (since it clearly wan’t true) followed by curtailing their statements that you won’t spread it. Now it’s clear the Covid vaccines offer no protection at all (in fact, you’re more likely to get Covid if you take the vax. archive) and, instead, as shown above, the Covid vaccines are a grave risk to your health. The researcher below stated that the idea that COVID vaccines saved lives is “ridiculous.”

This is a serious topic, but here’s some appropriate humor:
7. The Vaccines are a dangerous, nonworking solution to the bio-engineered Corona virus
At the outbreak of the pandemic, the Chinese claimed the virus originated in a wet market in Wuhan. Most believed that story, including this MIT reviewer. Many had a hard time believing that it actually originated from a leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab in China, as the former CDC director Robert Redfield indicated. If there were still any doubts, the United States Department of State issued a statement indicating the Covid-19 virus originated in the Wuhan lab of virology.
I bring that up in preparation for next the following truths that will be difficult for some people to believe. The difficulty in believing comes from the lack of understanding of the depth of deception perpetrated by both the Chinese and United States governments concerning the virus. The rose-colored glasses need to come off so you can come to grips with the following facts:
A. The Corona virus that causes Covid-19 is a manmade, genetically engineered virus.
Here is the testimony of Dr. Li-Meng Yan, one of the virologists given early access to study the SARS-Cov-2 virus that causes the Covid-19 disease:
“This virus, Covid-19/SARS-Cov-2, actually is not from nature. It is a manmade virus created in the lab…
“Based on the virus genome, it’s basically like our finger print. So you can see the very unusual characters in their genome. Which conveniently, based on the other evidence they [The CCP directed lab] left during the modification, we can say finally this is exactly the one come from their own special bat corona virus and it then targets humans.”
“So basically this is very clearly that this virus is like Frankenstein -[what] he created. So things like, basically, like a cow [that] has [a] deer’s head, has rabbit ears and also has monkey hand[s]. So they could never get it from nature.”

While such genetic engineering may be illegal and unethical, that’s not even the worst part. The reason I point this out is because of the reason that the virus was developed. At the end of the above video (7:10), Dr. Yan states that the Chinese military spread it to the world “to make such damage.” In other appearances she outright states that the virus is a bioweapon.
But some people question her integrity and motives and therefore doubt her story. Below is another doctor also stating that the SaRs CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 is a Chinese bioweapon. Dr, Lawrence Sellin states that not only is the virus a gain-of-function developed bioweapon, but the U.S. was complicit in “suppressing beneficial treatment in favor of potentially harmful vaccines.” This is the very point I made above.
But I give the above as an introduction to this point:
B. The mRNA vaccines are a bad solution to the COVID-19 bioweapon because they not only do not protect against the virus, they mimic the symptoms of virus, causing the body tissues and organs to fight against itself.

Here’s the first part of the above document:
“The gene-encoded, or ‘mRNA,” vaccines work poorly because they are synthetic replications of the already-synthetic [i.e. human engineered] SARSr-CoV-WIV spike proteins and possess no other epitope. The mRNA instructs the cells to produce synthetic copies of the SARSr-CoV-WIV synthetic spike protein directly into the bloodstream, wherein they spread and produce the same ACE2 immune storm that the recombinant vaccine does.”
In other words, the mRNA vaccine replicates the spike protein of the SARSr-CoV2 virus with the goal being that the body would produce antibodies against the virus, but since the whole virus is not replicated, it was thought the vaccine recipient would not be infected or show the symptoms—just gain immunity. What has been shown, and what he points out above, is that the vaccine produces the same symptoms as the virus. Further, as demonstrated earlier in this article, the spikes damage the blood vessels and organs, and thus damages multiple body organs and cause a host of illnesses and diseases.
Conclusion
There is much more evidence of harm from the Covid vaccines, but the above is sufficient to show the well-documented deaths, diseases and bodily harm caused by the mRNA vaccines that can be avoided by simply not taking the vaccine.
In a poignant confirmation of this, Dilbert creator Scott Adams, who was recently diagnosed with prostrate cancer which is expected to be terminal, has candidly admitted that, in regards to the Covid-19 vaccines, though he had been a strong supporter of the vaccine and used his platform to speak against “anti-vaxxers”, he now realizes that those who did not take the vaccine are in a better position. Clearly, he is wondering if his taking the vaccine is the cause of his cancer diagnosis. (Note: Cancer is one of the expected diseases to experience a vaccine-induced increase, listed in item 5 above.)
Thus, my studied and firm conclusion and conviction are that the mRNA vaccines should be rejected and avoided at all costs.
A Note on Religious Convictions
This should not be construed as a doctrine of the Christian faith. It is matter of Christian conviction, not doctrine. Though not commanded, some Christians will not drink alcoholic beverages, or get a tattoo. This is along the same lines.
Christians who have opted to take the vaccine, for whatever reason, have not gone against the faith. God has given us the freedom to make decisions of conscience (Romans 14.3-4) and to choose to follow the way of wisdom (Prov 4.5) or not. This information is shared so all have the information to choose the way of wisdom. It is my firm conviction as a Christian that the way of wisdom in this matter is to firmly reject all Covid-19 vaccines.
