About the Site

The purpose of this site is dealt with at length in these posts:
What is Rational Faith? parts 1 & 2
But to state it briefly, to:

  1. Encourage non-believing seekers of the truth, as well as Christians who feel challenged in their faith by the never ending claims of all who speak against the faith, such as outspoken atheists who like to make strongly disputed statements such as “evolution is a fact”; and to provide responses to the never ending challenges of those who reject the Bible in order to hold fast to a different world view (typically the evolutionary/materialistic/atheist worldview).
  2. Provide evidence/ammunition (which one is determined by your world view) in the form of information to demonstrate that Christianity is in fact true, and is thus the best answer to not only the question of origins, but is also the correct way to view the world; and that consequently evolution is in fact not true.
  3. Reaffirm that since Biblical Christianity is true, it is completely rational to believe the word of God – the Bible, and place your full faith and trust in the one the Bible points to – Jesus Christ.
  4. To assist in growing 2 Tim 2:15 Christians (“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”)

Christians are called to be the light of the world, but that light is not being seen for many reasons, one of which is:

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Cor 4.4

But it’s even worse than that – now it’s moved beyond unbelievers such that there are even some Christians buying into theories that contradict the clear account of scripture. This site is to demonstrate why you can be an intellectually fulfilled Christian – and still believe in the biblical accounts, and have an answer to those who can’t believe you disbelieve the scientific account of origins. You don’t have to deny science to be a Christian; you just have to demand good science.
